Four men remain on the run after a house was allegedly sprayed with bullets in an early morning shooting.

Gunshots were allegedly fired into the front yard of a house on Goldingham Street at Tenambit, in NSW‘s Hunter Region, at 6.45am on October 16.

Police have launched a fresh appeal to find the gunmen and released photos on Friday of four men they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

All four men were wearing balaclavas at the time with several of them brandishing firearms

CCTV footage has also been released showing a 2011 silver Holden Cruze sedan and a 2009 blue Holden Commodore sedan leaving the area at the time of the shooting.

One was seen dressed in a long-sleeved Tommy Hilfiger shirt while another was wearing a hooded jumper.

Police allege shots had been fired into the front yard of the house hitting an MG station wagon that was parked in the driveway.

A 2011 silver Holden Cruze sedan and a 2009 blue Holden Commodore were caught on camera driving past nearby petrol stations moments later.
