A wealthy couple are offering thousands of pounds a year for a domestic worker who will look after their two cats.

The housekeeper would be paid £58,000 a year to join a PA, chef and gardener at the wealthy household in Cobham, Surrey.

Any candidate is expected to ‘feed, take care and interact with the owner’s cats in a loving manner’, as well as the usual vacuuming, dusting and mopping. 

The advert says the applicant must ‘Feed, take care, and interact with the owner’s cats in a loving manner’ and is expected to house sit and care for the cats when the owners aren’t in.

An ad for the job says: ‘The household comprises of a professional couple and their two beloved cats.

‘Duties include: Ensuring that the home stays clean and organised on a daily basis including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and scouring bathrooms etc.

‘Wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures. Washing and ironing of clothes and preparing clothes for dry cleaning. Wardrobe management, ensuring clothes are fresh and ready to wear.’
