The Married At First Sight couples would normally wait until the first commitment ceremony before moving in together.
But it appears that the show’s producers have decided to switch things up for this year’s newlyweds.
Making a surprise announcement following Monday’s dinner party, ‘love expert’ John Aiken announced the couples will instead be moving in together immediately.
Plot twist: During Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight, expert John Aiken (pictured) revealed the couples would be moving in together before the first commitment ceremony

‘Congratulations everyone on your nuptials. But the honeymoon is now well and truly over,’ he began.
The 50-year-old resident expert continued: ‘We’re shaking things up this year, there is no commitment ceremony this week.
‘Instead, tomorrow you will start setting up house as man and wife when you move into your new apartment.’

John explained that each of the couples’ relationships will be tested, while put under the microscope by the experts.
‘You will need to get along with one another, learn about personal space and really get into the nitty gritty of your relationship,’ he told the couples.
‘There’s no hiding. It is something that will take you way out of your comfort zones and require all of you to turn to your partner, be honest and get along.’
