The Voice: Blake Shelton lands two singers in finale as Cam Anthony and Jordan Matthew Young advance

Blake Shelton gained an edge Tuesday on The Voice with two of his singers joining the final five for the season 20 finale.

The 44-year-old country star pumped up his contestant Cam Anthony, 19, of Pennsylvania, who made it into the finale after his performance Monday of the R&B song It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday.

‘Superstar! Come on!,’ Blake shouted as he stood up to applaud Cam.

Blake earlier during the season made the bold prediction that Cam would be the first ‘superstar’ to emerge from the NBC singing competition show.

His other singer Jordan Matthew Young, 34, of Austin, Texas, after losing out to Cam was relegated to the Instant Save with viewer voting determining the winner of a sing-off and the final spot in the top five.

Jordan after performing the 1970 swamp rock classic Drift Away won the Instant Save and earned the fifth and final spot in the season finale.

The one-hour results episode opened with Kelly Clarkson, 39, learning that her talented, mullet-wearing country singer Kenzie Wheeler, 23, of Dover, Florida, made it into the finals.

The episode also featured Greek-Australian rapper Masked Wolf performing Astronaut In The Ocean and Kelly teaming up with her season 17 winner Jake Hoot, 32, for their duet I Would’ve Loved You.

The Voice will return Monday on NBC with performances by the top five followed Tuesday with a results episode in which the season champion will be crowned.
