And, during Wednesday’s instalment of This Morning, Holly Willoughby, 40, used a ‘psychic banana’ to predict that England will beat Denmark in tonight’s semi-final at Wembley.

Elsewhere in the show, Phillip Schofield, 59, joked that he is ‘knobless’ during an hilarious game of Guess The Gadget.

Holly asserted: ‘The only person who really, really knows is this guy. The psychic banana.

‘I’m afraid the banana will be harmed during this process,’ she added. 

Explaining herself, she said: ‘So if you haven’t seen the psychic banana before: We ask it a yes or no question and then we cut the end off.

Steve announced: ‘It’s remote controls, you’re right!’ to which Holly celebrated her win in football style by enthusing: ‘It’s coming home!’
