Tony Blair‘s former constituency house where the Labour Prime Minister entertained George Bush has gone up for sale for less than £300,000.
During his time at Myrobella House in Trimdon Colliery, County Durham, with his family, where average house prices are just £40,000, the former PM and Sedgefield MP hosted international statesman and world leaders.
Ex-US President George Bush visited the property back in 2003, landing his two Sikorsky Black Stallion helicopters in a nearby field.
The American leader famously enjoyed fish and chips at the Dun Cow pub in Sedgefield, County Durham.

And from 2007, the four-bedroom property, which had been a pit manager’s house, served as a base for the Tony Blair Sports Foundation.
Tony Blair sold the property for £275,000 in 2010 – £240,000 more than he paid for it in 1983.
But it is now back on the market for just under £300,000, at £299,950 with Wright Homes.
It’s a far cry from the former Labour PM’s current London home on Connaught Square – a five-storey grade II listed town house, a stone’s throw from Hyde Park.
