Tottenham caretaker boss Ryan Mason has revealed he’s exchanged messages with former Spurs manager and PSG coach Mauricio Pochtettino since his appointment.
Spurs dismissed Jose Mourinho on Monday after 17 months in charge and chairman Daniel Levy has handed the reigns to former player Mason, 29, on a caretaker basis until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old admitted he has ‘exchanged a few messages’ with Pochettino’s coaching team and reflected on a ‘crazy’ 24 hours, insisting: ‘Anything can happen and you have to be prepared for what football can throw at you.’
