There have been suggestions the England defender could buy out his contract this month in order to force a move abroad before the end of January.

According to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, an offer has been made by the club and talks will begin between Tottenham, Rose and Trabzonspor.

Rose joined the North London club back in 2007 and is looking likely to put an end to his 14-year career at Tottenham, where he is currently the longest serving player in the senior side.

The Turkish side have looked to England before to acquire talents, currently holding Chelsea’s Lewis Baker and Stoke City’s Benik Afobe on loan, and also signed Daniel Sturridge back in 2019 before terminating his contract after just 16 matches.
