Tully Smyth’s awkward run-in with Angie Kent and Jess Brody after they ALL dated Ciarran Stott 

He was known as the long-haired Lothario on Bachelor In Paradise. 

And it appears that Ciarran Stott has been living up his reputation.   

Former Big Brother star Tully Smyth, 31, has revealed she attended the same party as not one, but two women who previously dated her ex Ciarran. 

‘We’ve had each other on social media, but we’ve never met before – Angie [Kent] invited me to party,’ she explained. 

Of course, Ciarran, 26, was originally on Angie’s season of The Bachelorette, which he chose to leave after hearing his grandmother fell ill.

But the awkwardness did not end there, as according to Tully, Angie, 31, had also invited former Bachelor In Paradise star Jessica Brody, 31, who had previously hooked up with the British larrakin.

‘Bless her Angie was like “Heads up, Jess Brody will be there”. For those playing along at home, Jess also used to date Ciarran,’ Tully added.  

Tully, who dated Ciarran in 2020, also revealed some intimate details about her brief relationship with the reality TV star.

‘He cried about his sick grandmother [on The Bachelorette], that’s why I fell in love with him,’ she told co-host Kate.

‘I ended up seeing Ciarran for a bit, but obviously that didn’t go so well.’

And although Tully was certain she and former Gogglebox star Angie would be get along, she admitted: ‘I was low-key scared of Jess. I’d never met her, but I didn’t have anything against Jess.’

Luckily, it appears the party, which was also attended by fellow Gogglebox alum Yvie Jones, went off without a hitch.

‘It was so much fun, we all had a laugh – it was a nice day we had drinks at a park.’ 

‘I got to meet Angie and she was just the best! Also Jess and I got on like a house on fire! 

However, the three girls did happen to get up to some mischief, as Tully revealed they decided to send an awkward video to their mutual ex-boyfriend.  

‘Funnily enough, we sent Ciarran a video of the three of us ‘saying “Your girls say hi.”‘

According to Tully, ‘He took it like a champ.’

Ciarran, who dated four women during his 2019 stint on Bachelor In Paradise, broke Jess Brody’s heart and began dating Tully shortly after filming the show. 

In July 2020, Tully defended her then boyfriend’s behaviour in a series of Instagram comments. 

‘He is unapologetically himself, something I have been accused of being before,’ she wrote, insisting that Ciarran has a ‘good heart’ and is simply ‘young and still learning’, she said at the time. 

‘He’s the first to put his hand up and say he’s made some mistakes, he’s not perfect, he could have handled things differently. Does that make his actions okay or act as an excuse? Absolutely not,’ she added.
