Valencia offer Goncalo Guedes to Wolves as they hope the Premier League will suit him better after he failed to live up to expectations in LaLiga

  • Wolves have been offered Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes this summer
  • The Portugal international has failed to live up to expectations in LaLiga
  • Having signed for £36m, Valencia are looking to recoup much of that fee
  • Guedes has scored four goals and registered four assists so far this season

Wolves have been offered Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes as they assess new forward options for the summer.

The Portugal international has failed to live up to expectations in LaLiga but is hoping the Premier League will suit his style better.

Wolves have Pedro Neto ruled out for six months, are weighing up whether to sell Adama Traore and look unlikely to take up their option to buy Willian Jose following his loan from Real Sociedad.

They also want to sell Patrick Cutrone who is on loan at Valencia.

Guedes, 24, is represented by Jorge Mendes. He joined Valencia from Paris St Germain for £36million and the cash-strapped Spanish side are eager to recoup much of that fee.

As it stands, no transfer fee has been reported, but it is believed Cutrone could be included as part of the deal for Portugal International.

Guedes is a versatile player that could play anywhere in the front line – having scored four goals and registered four assists from 25 appearances this term.
