Brooklyn Beckham is stranded in the US in lockdown amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

The eldest child of David and Victoria had flown back to the states with his girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, after he celebrated his 21st birthday in the Cotswolds.

But his mother Victoria, 45, revealed that he was stuck out there as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to affect the planet.

Taking to Instagram to share Brooklyn’s latest post about his Icon Magazine photoshoot, she declared: ‘We are all missing @BrooklynBeckham so much as he remains in lockdown in the US.

‘Seeing this self-portrait he did for @ico_n brought a smile to all our faces this morning!’

Brooklyn was so confident in his photography abilities that he took self-portraits for the shoot.

Appearing on two different covers for the publication he looked at ease with a camera in hand as he posed in front of a mirror in a plain studio.

In one snap, Brooklyn went shirtless to show off his toned torso as he posed in a black velvet jacket and denim jeans.

He completed the look by accessorising with a simple gold pendant, while he wore a single earring for the shoot.

In another snap, Brooklyn spruced up nicely as he wore a white co-ord suit with a light pink shirt that he wore partially unbuttoned.

His chocolate-brown locks were brushed into a tousled style, and he wore light green nail polish to complete the look.

In August last year, Brooklyn was said to have left his colleagues stunned over his ‘lack of basic skills’ during his internship with Rankin.

He embarked upon the dream internship in July after the legendary snapper Rankin was impressed with Brooklyn’s photo of Sir David Attenborough in Africa.

But Brooklyn – who has previously shot campaigns for Burberry and published his own photography book – was said to be struggling with the first days of the intense internship – with colleagues claiming he has to be treated like a complete novice.

A source told The Sun in July: ‘Everyone knew Brooklyn’s work needed fine tuning but no one knew his knowledge of the simplest tasks was so off.

‘Everyone had high hopes for him but it’s not been the most impressive start. He’s lacking in most areas. But he’s trying to make up for it in enthusiasm.’

Meanwhile, in July 2018 Brooklyn quit his New York photography course at the world-renowned Parsons School of Design because he ‘missed’ his family in the UK.

He told pals months before that he wanted to leave – according to the Mirror, but decided to stick it out to the end of term.

An insider told the publication: ‘It sounds as if he was truly homesick and was feeling lonely out there.

‘He adores his family, in the end it was the lure to come back to them all that swung it – and the prospect of a terrific internship.

‘Victoria is absolutely delighted at the news and couldn’t contain herself when it was all coming to plan – to have Brooklyn back under the same roof is a dream come true for her.’

The source said Victoria was ‘thrilled’ at Brooklyn’s return, adding: ‘She was telling pals she couldn’t believe how much she missed him and hated to be separated from him.’
