WAG Bec Judd, 37, visits hair salon after Melbourne lockdown eases

She has been vocal about the strict coronavirus lockdown in her home city of Melbourne.

So Bec Judd was no doubt thrilled to be back in the hair salon on Tuesday, as the city slowly and thankfully partly reopened.

The 37-year-old AFL WAG went incognito as she made her way into trendy UVA salon, wearing a JAGGAD cap and black mandated mask.

The mother-of-four chatted on her phone as she briskly walked to her appointment with the glamorous Prahran stylist.

Bec showed off her trim pins in a pair of leather trousers teamed with a tri-colour polo top from her own activewear line.

The former model proved herself to be somewhat of a walking advertisement as she also carried her belongings in her multi-pocket Bec Bag she designed with Prene.

Bec has been an outspoken advocate of the ‘Free Melbourne’ movement, concerned with the devastating economic impact of the virus.

Bec modelled a ‘Free Melbourne’ T-shirt on Instagram this week, which can be purchased online for $40, with profits from sales being donated to Beyond Blue.

She immediately came under fire for the post, with a number of her critics angered at her lockdown experience being slightly better than others.

The TV presenter and her husband, retired AFL star Chris Judd, have spent the past few months in lockdown with their four children – son Oscar, nine, daughter Billie, six, and three-year-old twins Tom and Darcy – who are all being homeschooled.

Earlier this month, Rebecca said she is ‘going to be on one of the first flights to Perth’ once the borders reopen.

‘I’ll be on one of the first flights to Perth once allowed to. I understand it will take a bit longer from Victoria but we are getting there,’ she continued.

Bec has shared a number of tender and comical moments during lockdown.

In March, she revealed she was forced to ‘hide’ from her kids who appeared to persistently nag her.

In an Instagram Stories posts, the makeup free WAG sat on the floor against a cupboard while a robot vacuum cleaner buzzed by her.

In the footage, Bec hilariously said to camera: ‘I’m hiding in the kitchen from my kids. I need a break’.

From October 19, Melbourne eased a round of restrictions as community infection from Covid-19 continues to decline.

The changes that took effect included hairdressers being able to reopen and face-to-face consultation for allied health practitioners.

The state also scrapped the two-hour time limit for exercise and socialising.
