A woman has been branded ‘insane’ after she admitted that she makes her boyfriend FaceTime her during his entire 12-hour work shift at an Amazon warehouse – because she said she ‘doesn’t trust’ other females. 

The woman, who is named Nela and is from Fresno, California, explained in a recent TikTok video that she makes her boyfriend, Jose Macias, stay on the phone with her the whole time he’s at work – and many of her followers found it unsettling.

Her admission has sparked a firestorm of responses – with many people calling Nela ‘extensive’ and ‘not normal,’ and one even said she ‘needed to get help’ and that Jose should be ‘freed’ from the relationship.

According to Nela, she does have faith in her beau, however, she doesn’t trust the women that he works with.

‘My boyfriend needs to FaceTime me his whole 12-hour shift,’ she wrote in the now-viral TikTok, which showed them on FaceTime while he packaged Amazon boxes and she washed dishes. ‘Not because I don’t trust him, but because I don’t trust females.’

The video, which gained more than four million views since it was posted last month, caused quite the stir – and people quickly started to flood the comment section with scathing remarks on her requirement.

‘If you trust him, you’d trust that if a female walked up to him he would say he has a girlfriend or ignore her,’ someone else said.
