‘They respect the “man” you were “with” more than you as a human being which says a lot about society,’ someone else shared.

‘Men will literally respect imaginary men more than real living women,’ another commenter agreed.

However, one person missed the point and noted that the guys were probably trying to flirt with her.

‘No hate. But is it possible it was their way of flirting?’ the stranger asked. ‘Seeing [hickeys] means you are taken so they don’t try to flirt.’

Sydney responded to the question in a follow-up video, saying the flirting attempts were the problem.

‘You silly goose. That’s the whole point,’ she explained. ‘They’re trying to flirt with me, and I don’t want it.’

She said that whenever men see the ‘hickeys’ they think, “Oh, off the market. I don’t need to correct her f**king form.’

The TikToker added that their insistence on trying to correct her form is also frustrating because she knows what she is doing.

‘I’m staring at myself in the mirror. I know that my form is great — well, not great. It’s pretty dang good,’ she concluded. ‘And when it’s not, it hurts and I notice.’
