YouTube star Jake Paul has boldly taken the first move to call out UFC icon Conor McGregor, insisting he wants to box the Irishman and vows to ‘f*** him up’ in front of millions.

The past 18 months has seen Paul swap the Youtube cameras for the boxing ring and now the 23-year-old American wants to fight one of the biggest names in combat sport.

Paul was recently in action as a blockbuster feature on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr under-card, during which he fought and knocked-out former basketball star Nate Robinson.

It took just two rounds for Paul to dispatch his opponent, and now the YouTuber has made the audacious move of calling on McGregor to step into the ring with him.

Speaking to TMZ, Paul said: ‘No other fighter with this big of a platform is calling out McGregor. My dogs have more followers than the guy he’s fighting in January.

‘I’m gonna win, too! That’s what I want people to understand!’

Paul added, ‘I’m gonna dedicate my life to winning that fight because I’m not going in there just to say I did it – I’m going in there to f**k Conor McGregor up.’

In the aftermath of his huge win over Robinson and with the adrenaline still pumping, Paul had told the BT Sport cameras he wanted to face either McGregor, or Dillon Danis as soon as possible, before confidently adding: ‘I’m going to knock them both out.’

Paul has long since been touted for a showdown with KSI, a fellow social media personality.

KSI, who boasts 22.1million subscribers on YouTube, defeated Paul’s brother, Logan, in their fiery rematch last year.

KSI was left unimpressed despite the manner of Paul’s knockout triumph over Robinson, however, tweeting: ‘I saw nothing special from Jake lol. Soon come.’

As for McGregor, the UFC star is due back in action early next year when he faces a re-match with Dustin Poirier, the man he defeated inside the Octagon in 2014.
