Addison’s mother Brittany Leigh Perkins said on Facebook that her daughter had ‘been cleared and just got discharged and has to follow up on two days with concussion clinic.’

‘Today could have been much worse,’ she told DailyMail.com on Sunday morning. ‘I’m just thankful everyone is still here and alive and going to be okay.’

A freelance photographer, who was at the game, also shared a photo to Facebook showing the uninjured players on the boys and girls’ teams waiting in the hospital to see if their teammates would be okay.

Perkins told DailyMail.com that everyone, but one girl, has been released from the hospital. The girl, who currently ‘can’t walk’ and has ‘pelvic and hip bruising’ is expected to be released tomorrow, according to Perkins.

The fire department showed their support on Facebook, writing: ‘Wayne Fire Dept. would like to extend our prayers to the Wayne Middle School softball team and the members in the community of Wayne involved at the ball field today.’
