Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson travel in style as they arrive on Paros Island in Greece in a private jet two days after the Oscar winner turned 64

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are taking a well-deserved vacation.

The two-time Oscar winner, who turned 64 years of age on Thursday, and his wife, 63, were seen after landing in a private jet on the Greek isle of Paros on Saturday.

The Splash actor looked stylish and summery in his outfit, in a crisp white polo shirt and dark shorts.

Hanks, who won back-to-back Best Lead Actor Oscars in 1994 and 1995 for Philadelphia and Forrest Gump, respectively, paired his outfit on Saturday with an off-white baseball cap. 

He also wore stylish strapped sandals, along with small sunglasses and a patterned green bandanna over his face.

Rita, an actress in her own right famous for her role in Sleepless In Seattle among other films, wore a wide brimmed hat, a dark V-neck tee and high-waisted jeans.

Wilson sported white tennis trainers as she made her way, carrying a Louis Vuitton tote.

She completed her look with a black face mask and sunshades. 

Tom and Rita, who have been married since 1988, made the news earlier this year as two of the first celebrities to come down with COVID-19, the sometimes fatal illness associated with the novel coronavirus.

The Hollywood power couple fell ill in March, while in Australia for one of Hanks’s film shoots.

He recently described the symptoms of his illness, mentioning ‘crippling body aches.’ 

And on Saturday, Tom told The Daily Telegraph that he and Rita didn’t realize at first just how serious the disease was at the time, referring to himself as ‘the canary in the coal mine’. 

He also thanked the people of Australia on the Nine’s Today show for taking care of him and Rita during their coronavirus ordeal, which fortunately wasn’t serious enough to keep them in the hospital.
