Anthony Albanese’s VERY fast trip to see one of his favourite musos sparks furious speculation whether he used the PM’s jet to make the gig on time: ‘It’s like his very own Uber…’

Questions have been raised after Anthony Albanese raced interstate to catch a concert from one of his favourite artists in Brisbane.
The Prime Minister made the journey from Canberra to The Tivoli theatre in inner Brisbane to enjoy a performance from socialist muso Billy Bragg on Thursday night.
He managed to make it to the concert, which started at 8pm, despite working in the capital earlier in the day.
His speedy journey has left some wondering whether he used the prime ministerial jet for the trip.
Mr Albanese’s use of the jet has not been confirmed and the PM’s office did not respond to questions from Daily Mail Australia.
But critics have fuelled the speculation on social media.

One said: ‘Did Anthony Albanese commandeer the prime ministerial jet to catch his mate, working-class troubadour Billy Bragg in Brisbane on Thursday night?
‘Probably, as he doesn’t seem to have any sense of what should and shouldn’t be done or of right from wrong. Clueless!’
Another commented: ‘You can bet he did. It’s like his very own Uber.’
While a third said: ‘The PM for Selfies and Good Times found time while he was ‘delivering’ to commandeer the Commonwealth private jet to fly to Brisbane.
‘He loves a good time.’
Several Labor members attended the concert, including Queensland bigwigs deputy premier Steven Miles, Transport minister Mark Bailey and Federal MP Graham Perrett.
Mr Albanese went on to do a press conference in Brisbane on Friday morning at Trevor St Baker’s Tritium.
Posing with an electric car charger, Mr Albanese tweeted: ‘This is what one of the world’s fastest electric vehicle chargers looks like.
Mr Albanese and Bragg first met in the 1990s and have caught up at irregular intervals since then when the UK singer has toured Australia, with their last encounter being in 2018
‘It’s the kind of technology we need to make Australia a renewable energy superpower.
‘Businesses like Tritium here in Brisbane need certainty to invest in new tech, new ideas and new jobs.’
The PM is a proud fan of the left wing British singer and they are old friends.
Mr Albanese quoted Mr Bragg in his first speech to the ALP caucus after winning the federal election last year, when he said: ‘Just because you’re going forward doesn’t mean I’m going backwards.’
Mr Bragg said he and Mr Albanese first met at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre in the late 1990s and ‘immediately bonded over a shared love of music and a commitment to the politics of compassion’.
The prime minister and Bragg had caught up whenever the singer toured Australia, he added.
