In the money! Adama Traore ‘to snub Liverpool and Barcelona interest’ with Spain international ‘ready to sign new £100,000-a-week deal with Wolves’

Adama Traore’s impressive form is set to bring with it fresh reward with the Wolves winger reportedly to be handed a new £100,000-a-week deal.

Traore, who made his international debut for Spain last week, has generated interest from Liverpool and Barcelona but is now expected to remain with Wolves on bumper new terms.

The Sun report that Traore, who is only two years into his existing five-year contract, will become the fourth player at Molineux to surpass a six-figure weekly salary.

Goalkeeper Rui Patricio, midfielder Joao Moutinho and striker Raul Jimenez are already on deals worth £100,000-a-week or more.

‘You can see how happy he’s been in training just by seeing us be together again,’ boss Nuno Espirito Santo said, ahead of Monday’s trip to face Leeds.

‘We know what we have to do. First of all you have to be happy where you are and he clearly is.’
