Adelaide woman struck by car at Elizabeth South and left fighting for life

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car near a busy highway.
The accident happened on the corner of Ridley and Judd Roads in Elizabeth South, Adelaide at around 8pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics rushed her to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Philip Highway was closed between Ridley and Judd Roads and traffic could not enter the highway to or from in the area for several hours while police attended the scene.
