Celebrities are no stranger to pulling out all the stops with their Christmas decorations, and this year has proven to be no different.

But in a surprise new trend, stars including Amanda Holden and Stacey Solomon have been taking to social media to display their festive front doors which have been intricately decoration with just a week to go until the big day.

While many have gone for the classic combination of flowers and wreaths, others have embraced the classic Nutcracker trend with soldiers to guard the entrance.

No stranger to a stunning decoration, Amanda has given the front of her country home a stunning makeover, with a beautiful wreath made of pine-cones and red roses.

The door is then lined with a stunning collection of flowers and green baubles, in an almost archway, with extra cream flowers and more gold and red baubles adding even more colour to the picturesque setting.

As the vintage feel added to the country feel of Amanda’s home, she took to Instagram to share a video of her door, she gushed that it was making her ‘cry with joy.’

Along with a classic white wreath, the door is lined with an arch of the enchanted-esque branches, roses and balls, in what may be one of the most sensational festive decorations yet.

Stacey hasn’t held back from sharing her love for Christmas and all its sparkling additions, especially as she prepares to celebrate her first day of the festive season with her baby son Rex.

After stunning fans with her and sister Sam’s amazing festive decor, Billie Faiers put even more love and care in to the entrance to her home.

Accompanied by a matching red bow wreath and archway covered in interlining white branches and lights, the home’s opening was topped off with a tiny matching Christmas tree.

This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes also embraced the Nutcracker effect, though the star wrote that she was taking inspiration from the 2008 film The Holiday.

Along with a part-arch perched on the roof of her door, the mother-of-two ensured a solder was present to stand card, along with clusters of coloured baubles and a final wreath on the door. 

Instagram cleaning sensation and new mum Mrs Hinch – or Sophie Hinchliffe – also showed her own version of the trend, with a tasteful pink wreath full of flowers and baubles.
