Anna Camp talks Pitch Perfect 4 as she jokes her co-stars will do reboots until they’re ‘acting in a retirement home’

Anna Camp and her Pitch Perfect co-stars want to do another installment of the hit franchise.

The 37-year-old True Blood star, who played Aubrey Posen in the trilogy, spoke fondly of her memories with the cast and wanting to get together for another on-screen reunion.

‘We wanna do one! We all would be like, ‘Come on!’ We wanna do it until we’re old and we’re acting in a retirement home,’ she said of a fourth film during a recent appearance on the Collider Ladies Night podcast.

Camp also spoke of her close bond with castmates Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow, who she said are ‘100 percent’ as close as their characters from the 2012, 2015, and 2017 movies.

‘You can’t fake chemistry like that. You can’t fake having fun like that, and poking at each other and being a real core group of girl friends,’ she explained.

She added: ‘I mean, we were so young when we shot that movie, all of us, when we were rehearsing it felt like we were back in college again.’

She famously met her ex-husband Skylar Astin on set and the pair formed an instant connection.

While the pair finalized their divorce after two years of marriage in 2019, Camp agreed with the podcast host’s suggestion the entire cast should recreate a new installment every five to ten years.

‘I would want to see what’s happening. Does Fat Amy kids? Do Fat Amy and Bumper have a family?’ she wondered.

‘How cool would that be, in about five years to see what happens to all of these characters that you know and love. I’m sure they can put us into some wild, crazy situations.’

Kendrick, the lead of the Pitch Perfect franchise, previously said her former co-stars were like ‘family’ and always ‘have my back.’

Anna told Good Morning America that the group is: ‘really there for each other all the time’ and said: ‘It’s amazing to know that you have these women who have your back.’

She furthered: ‘Every time we get together everything’s right back where it was.’

The ensemble comedy followed a disgraced all-women’s collegiate a cappella group as they fought to win nationals and fix their reputations.
