If your favourite part of sitting down with a tub of ice cream is to dig out the chunks of cookie dough, then your sweet tooth in in for a treat.
Fans have gone wild after spotting Ben & Jerry’s chocolate chip cookie dough chunks in the aisles of Asda.
The supermarket is selling 170g bags of the chunks for £3.99 across the UK, meaning fans of the much-loved ice cream can now tuck into the chewy cookie bites without having to dig around for them in tubs.
Asda usually sell 465ml tubs of ice cream for £4.85-£5.00 meaning the bags are pricier per 100ml.

Taking to Facebook and Twitter fans were quick to share their excitement.
One said: ‘I bought these and ate the whole bag then couldn’t function’

The treats are ready to eat and don’t need to be baked.
There’s 666 calories in a bag, which is more than a Big Mac, but a packet does contain six portions with 111 calories per 28g serving.
Last year, the snack was released in the US and it’s success lead to the launch of four flavours other flavours, including peanutbutter, chocolate chocolate chip, half baked and a vegan version.

At the time, a Ben & Jerry’s spokesperson said: ‘We’ve freed the chunks! We know how it goes: sometimes when you’re digging in to a pint of ice cream you’re really just chasing those chunks with reckless abandon.
‘Go straight for the good stuff with a bag of totally snackable Cookie Dough Chunks!’
