Many commuters who use the London Underground every day will likely wish there was a quicker way of getting on and off platforms.

Queuing to tap in and out at stations can be a long, uncomfortable and frustrating ordeal, so one young passenger decided to liven up the experience a little.

Footage of a skateboarder’s athletic and daring stunt has gone viral on social media, being viewed more than 35,000 times.

In the remarkable video, the youngster can been seen riding towards the barrier at Blackfriars tube station. 

He then makes an enormous leap, leaving his skateboard to ride under the barrier as he flies over it.

After he clears the barrier by mere millimetres, he eyes up where he’s going to land – back on the moving board.

Incredibly, he safely completes the trick, and rides away, cheering and raising his arms in celebration.
