Balenciaga is making an unusual fashion statement with its latest offering – a garment made from two coats that are stitched together – and costs £3,650.
There is a full-length, beige mac at the front and a smaller, faded denim jacket at the back.
The trendy fashion house has launched it as part of its Spring 2024 Collection.
It is designed to have ‘multiple styling possibilities’.
But it is advertised with a model wearing the smaller jacket and the long one flapping around in front like an apron.

A similar-looking denim jacket is for sale at Primark for just £17.
The budget High Street clothes chain has a cream coat that appears the same for £40.
The Primark look – totalling £57 – is £3,593 cheaper.
It comes after Balenciaga were ridiculed last week for its £695 skirt that looked like a towel.
The Hybrid Carcoat in beige cotton drill and blue denim product description reads: ‘Oversize fit.
‘Two fabric panels assembled together, multiple styling possibilities.
‘Carcoat at the front, denim jacket at back.
‘Trench lapel, concealed button closure, two buttoned pockets at chest
Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fashion fans have noted that you can make a similar version by picking up the constituent parts from Primark, like this denim jacket which costs £17
