Lionel Messi scored another stunning goal as Barcelona beat Huesca 4-1 to close the gap on LaLiga leaders Atletico Madrid to four points.

The forward gave his side the lead in the 13th minute with a sensational strike which sailed into the top left hand corner. Antoine Griezmann then made it 2-0 with another brilliant strike before a Rafa Mir penalty gave Huesca a lifeline just before half-time.

But an Oscar Mingueza header in the 53rd minute put Barca back in the ascendancy with Messi grabbing his brace in the closing stages of the game to give the Catalans a 4-1 victory.
