Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas confirms James Bond theme will come out ‘real soon’… as they prepare for ‘special’ Oscars performance

The Oscars have confirmed Billie Eilish will make a ‘surprise performance’ at the awards show on Sunday.

And ahead of her big moment, the teen’s brother Finneas has confirmed their James Bond theme tune ‘comes out real soon’.

Refusing to reveal any details about the Oscars show, he simply told Jimmy Fallon on Monday night: ‘I’m so excited.’

Secretive: Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas tells Jimmy Fallon that the James Bond theme will come out ‘really soon’… as he and his sister prepare for special Oscars performance

The musician, who writes and produces his 18-year-old sister’s hit tracks, would not give any hints as to his plans for the prestigious awards show.

‘It’s one of those. If I say anything then we’re no longer performing at the Oscars.’

However he did address the release of the eagerly awaited Bond theme for the 25th movie, No Time To Die.

‘I think I’m allowed to say soon, really soon. It comes out really soon.’

When Fallon pushed for details, Finneas deferred, joking as he pointed to his neck: ‘Dude, one of the agents is in the crowd and I get a hyperdermic dart.’

But he did say he had seen the new Bond film: ‘The movie’s great, really great. I can tell you something, it’s great. It’s wonderful.’

Finneas, 22, who Billie credits with her huge breakout success, became more chatty when asked what advice he would share with young wannabes.

‘I have a real desire to give advice because I always wanted advice when I was first starting out. I would go on YouTube and watch other producers talk about what they did and whatever.’

Yet, he explained: ‘The overwhelming piece of advice I could probably give is just that like everybodies journey to the same destination career wise is like so different. Whatever you’re doing as long as your making something that your proud of, like that’s what you should be doing.

‘I think people really think that the person that did it before them, whatever got them to the right place, whatever cafe they did the open mic at, was like the right place.

‘It’s really just like your personal story is and then somebody will be inspired by what you did in the future.

‘As a kid I thought I should be doing what some hero of mine did, and none of those things ever worked out for me. It only worked out when I was like “I’ll just do what I wanna be doing.”‘
