Brian Austin Green is every inch the doting dad as he heads for a pre-Christmas coffee with his kids

He shares sons Noah, six, Bodhi, five, and two-year-old Journey, with wife of nine years Megan Fox.

And Brian Austin Green looked every inch the doting dad as he stepped out for a pre-Christmas Starbucks with his brood in Calabasas, California on Monday. 

The actor, 46, cut a casual figure in a khaki padded jacket as he accompanied his kids to their local coffee shops.

He teamed his jacket with a plain white T-shirt, grey joggers and black trainers.

The star, who also donned dark sunglasses for the outing, looked relaxed as he gripped the hand of his youngest as they made their way into the shop.

There was no sign of the kids’ mum or Brian’s wife Megan on the outing.

Brian also has an older son, 17- year-old Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green.

The TV star shared a photo of his son on Instagram this week, with his son posing next to a red Stormtrooper costume from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

‘JJ, thank you for giving my son and I not only a really great experience, but delivering a finale to something that has been a huge part of our lives in what I felt was a really respectful way :)),’ Green stated on Instagram. 

Kassius is his first child, with his Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil, who was born in 2002, a year after they got engaged.

While they were planning on marrying in 2003, Green and Marcil called off the engagement and split up. 

Meanwhile, Megan recently offered her opinions on parenting, and how she and husband Brian are raising their three sons, ranging from the education they’re getting, to how she feels it’s crucial to let them explore their own paths. 

‘We send them to an organic, sustainable, vegan school where they’re seed-to-table, they plant their own food,’ Fox, 33, told People this month.’They grow it, they harvest it and they take it to local restaurants to sell it, so they understand how all of that works.’

Fox has long been an admirer of the vegan lifestyle – and was fully immersed in an all-vegan diet as recently as 2011 – until she said she shed too many pounds as result.

‘For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee,’ she said in a 2011 interview with Amica magazine. ‘But I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything.’ 

The Oak Ridge, Tennessee-born beauty said on Monday that she’s ‘very specific about never harming animals’ as an example to her three kids.

‘We don’t step on ants; we don’t do things like that,’ the Jennifer’s Body actress told the publication.

‘We don’t rip flowers out of the ground, because we think they’re beautiful. I teach them that plants are sentient beings – they have feelings, thoughts and emotions – so that’s what we’re doing.’

Megan and Brian began dating in 2004 when they worked on the show Hope & Faith. (He was 30 at the time and she was 18.)

They eventually got engaged – and broke things off in 2009 – before reconciling and marrying June 24, 2010. In more recent years, Megan filed for divorce in August of 2015, but the pair got on better terms and got back together the following year, which is also when they welcomed their youngest son.

In April, the actress put in paperwork to dismiss all divorce filings, confirming their relationship is on more solid ground than ever as they approach their 10-year anniversary as a couple.
