She may be a successful TV star, but Carrie Bickmore’s greatest role to date is being an incredible mother.  

On Tuesday, the The Project host’s husband Chris Walker shared a sweet moment of Carrie doting over her youngest daughter, Adelaide, 1. 

The proud father shared a clip of Adelaide eagerly shuffling to the door when her mother returned home.

Little Adelaide is seen watching her older brother play in a washing basket in the backyard, when she hears the front door slam. 

The toddler then jostles to meet her mother, eager for a cuddle.  

‘Hi sweetie,’ Carrie is heard saying in the video as Adelaide coos.

‘I missed you too,’ Carrie says, before lovingly picked up the youngster. 

She then kisses Adelaide on the neck.

Carrie also has a son Oliver, 12, from her marriage to Greg Lange, who died after a lengthy battle with brain cancer in December 2010. 

The likable blonde TV star regularly uses her Stellar magazine column to speak about family life, and making memories. 

Carrie spoke out against the trend to ‘Marie Kondo’ family homes in magazine in December.

She wrote: ‘Our desire to Marie Kondo the bejesus out of our homes means we’re losing memories.’ 

‘The clutter may not bring us joy now, but it’ll mean so much more in years to come.’ 

Carrie also admitted in Body and Soul magazine in April last year that she doesn’t strive for perfection as a mother.

‘I don’t think life is ever perfectly in balance, that’s okay,’ she said.

‘I [don’t] think we should aspire to have perfect lives – the joy is in the imperfection.’

‘Some days my home life takes more of my time and energy, so my work life takes a back seat; other weeks I have a crazy work schedule, so my house becomes a mess and we eat more takeaway,’ Carrie added.
