And on Tuesday, the 36-year-old Hollywood actor was spotted limbering up before hitting the waves with his brother Liam.
Chris showcased his muscular physique in a pair of black boardshorts and a rash vest while stretching on the beach.

Chris performed a number of stretches to loosen up his lower back, while also lifting his arms up into the sky.
Later on, he hit the waves with Liam, who had also made sure to stretch beforehand.
The Hunger Games star, 30, looked ripped in a grey T-shirt and blue boardshorts while carrying his surfboard into the ocean.

The brothers were joined by Chris’ longtime friend and personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, who is also a keen surfer.
The trio showed off their athletic prowess in the water, with Chris riding the waves effortlessly.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing, as they each had their fair share of wipeouts.

The Hemsworths are known for their love of surfing, and Chris is often spotted teaching his children how to catch waves in Byron Bay.
The father-of-three revealed he was planning on taking a break from the spotlight last August, amid the runaway success of his Avengers films.
He told the Men’s Health Strength Session Podcast that he’s going to be focusing on his family instead of his career for a while.

‘I’m just at home now, taking the next six months off and spending time with the kids and the wife,’ said Chris of life back in Australia.
The Thor star explained that his decision to take time off at the peak of his career had not been made lightly.
He said: ‘After The Avengers press tour [in April] I had a real moment of like, “Oh, what now? I’m unemployed, what next?”‘

Chris added: ‘And then I thought, “No, this is the problem. If you keep looking ahead and not enjoying right now, then you’re just going to miss it.”‘
Chris, his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children relocated to Australia from Los Angeles in 2014.
The family recently moved into a $20million ‘mega mansion’ in Broken Head, near Byron Bay.

Liam also owns a home in the beachside town. He has been spending more time there lately following his split from his wife, Miley Cyrus, last year.
