The three-storey home features a curved design, along with floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the breathtaking views.

There’s also plenty of room for entertaining, should Chris’ wife of 10 years, Elsa Pataky, and the couple’s three children, daughter India, eight, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, six, choose to join him.

In an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer in April, Chris said he was loving being at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, with his work usually sending him all over the world.

‘For 10 years I’ve been part of the machine, and I’ve been thankful for it, and done so many wonderful things and travelled so much, but what it meant was, I was away from my family. A lot,’ he explained.

‘I’ve wanted to just stop being controlled by a schedule. So to be home now with the kids full-time and to be able to go, “Wow, this is truly what’s important.” It would be a real miss if I didn’t use this opportunity to soak up that time.’

In another interview with GQ Australia in May, Chris said that the older his children get, the ‘harder’ he finds it to be away from them for work.

‘For a little while you don’t think the kids notice and then you realise they do,’ he explained.

He said he’s torn between wanting to make movies that he’s ‘proud of’ and being at home with his family, and confessed he worries that he’ll look back and realise he’s ‘missed it all’.
