David Beckham is accused of pretending to cook Christmas Dinner as fans spot a CHEF in the background while he carves the turkey

David Beckham has sparked questions from fans that he may have pretended to cook his family’s lavish Christmas dinner, after one fan claimed to spot a chef in the background.

The football star, 45, could be seen proudly carving the bird in a video posted by wife Victoria, 44, but was called out by one follower who joked that the chef must have noticed David was ‘doing it wrong.’

Of course David and Victoria are no stranger to having their meals cooked by private chefs, with the fashion designer admitting in the past that she is a ‘hopeless cook.’

Really? David Beckham has been accused of pretending to cook Christmas Dinner from eagle-eyed fans, after one spotted a chef in the background as he carved the bird

In the video, David appeared to display the results of hours of hard work in the kitchen as he carved the bronzed turkey.

But after Victoria shared the post, one fan took to Twitter to point out that they could see two chefs in the background, with one in the kitchen still making food for the dishes.

They wrote: ‘The hilarious thing about David Beckham carving the Turkey for the fam is the chef in the background looking at him likeeee…”You’re carving it wrong mate!!”’

‘Oh and he has now deleted the vid because it prob looks snobby and he was doing it badly!’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for David Beckham for further comment.

David and Victoria have been documenting their Christmas with their children Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper, eight.

The family have travelled to their manor in The Cotswolds for the festive celebrations, which included the arrival of a new puppy named Sage.

Victoria and David are no stranger to documenting their lavish lifestyle, and  the designer has previously said she has a private chef as she’s a ‘hopeless cook.’

In 2013 the star told Vogue Australia: ‘I don’t want people to think I’m moaning. I wake up every morning and think how lucky I am. I’m like a child. I need to know exactly where I’ll be and what I’m going to be doing.

‘Some days are better than others, but right now I feel guilty because I’m working instead of putting Harper to sleep.’

Chris Irving, who previously worked as a chef for the family in 2014, also spoke about cooking for the family, saying they hired him because they wanted a focus on home-cooked meals.

He told Daily Mail Australia in 2015: ‘They were amazing, they welcomed me into their home and had a lot of respect and time for me and the children were lovely and great.

‘Beckham, the reason they had a chef was to have home-cooked food, that’s what he likes. I did fancy parties and soirees for them too. She, particularly, loves them.’
