David Schwimmer is set to drive fans wild by reading a children’s book on CBeebies Bedtime Stories
David Schwimmer is set to join the likes of Tom Hardy by making an appearance on CBeebies Bedtime Stories on Saturday.
The actor, 53, may be known for his role as Ross from Friends but he is likely to gain a new legion of fans thanks to his time on the story sessions, much like the Peaky Blinders star, 42.
He is set to read a story about two groups of aliens The Smeds (who are red) and The Smoos (who are blue), and how they are definitely not friends.

Written by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the children’s book follows a tale of a young Smed and Smoo who fall in love, despite the aliens never mixing.
In a similar vein to Romeo and Juliet, the Smed and Smoo’s families disapprove of their love, but can their love finally conquer their respective clan’s intolerance?
Meanwhile, Tom made an appearance on the children’s storytime show several times, with his most popular one airing again in honour of the actor’s 42nd birthday in September last year.

First aired on the channel in 2017, the episode saw the actor looking cosy in a cardigan as he read Ross Collins’ book There’s a Bear on My Chair.
While the show forms part of many families’ bedtime routine, some parents revealed they were watching purely for their own entertainment.
‘My eldest child is 27 today but I’m watching CBeebies tonight alone lol,’ commented one on Facebook.
While another added: ‘Thanks for the heads up, I’ll make sure I get home on time and put little man to bed early to watch it’ alongside a winking face emoji.

Tom dedicated his last Bedtime Stories appearance in 2017 to his beloved dog Woody, who was by his side for filming of his episodes.
To mark National Dog Day Tom read out a special story about the friendship between a young boy and his dog following the death of Woody two months earlier.
Other stars appearing on the show include Orlando Bloom, Dolly Parton, Luke Evans, Ewan McGregor and Chris Evans.
David will read his story on CBeebies on February 22nd at 6.50pm.
