Dwight Yorke jetted off to the Maldives for a Christmas holiday shortly after his ex Katie Price pleaded with him to see his disabled son Harvey.
The glamour model, 41, said the former couple’s son, 17, ‘does not deserve’ to be ignored by him as she shared a video in which Harvey said he ‘loved Daddy Dwight’.
But rather than respond, the former Manchester United star, 48, instead enjoyed himself alongside cricketing legend Brian Lara, 50, and fellow former footballer Russell Latapy, 51, at the idyllic holiday destination.

Taking to Instagram to share his holiday snaps, Dwight sat in a golf buggy sitting alongside his fellow Trinidadians.
Wearing a red t-shirt and a white baseball cap, the former striker wrote in a caption: ‘WELCOME to #Koodoo.
‘About to enjoy this beautiful paradise with @brianlaraofficial @russelllatapy.’
And in a video, Dwight was seen dancing in a Santa hat, tight blue polo shirt and shorts alongside Brian and Russell.

Dwight’s trip comes just a day after Katie pleaded with him to meet his estranged son. The former glamour model took to Instagram to share an emotional video of the teen where he said he ‘loved daddy Dwight’.
Begging her followers to try and get in touch with the sportsman, she claimed he sees his other son Tiger, but has never tried to do so with Harvey.

In the video, Katie asked who Harvey wanted to speak to on Instagram to which the teen said ‘Daddy Dwight’, and added: ‘I love you Daddy Dwight, you look beautiful.’
In the caption, Katie told fans: ‘Anyone who knows @officialdwightyorke19 please get him to contact his son Harvey doesn’t deserve this, he see’s his other son Tiger so I don’t understand!
‘He does charity work for different kids charity yet doesn’t see or support his own son. I don’t get it !’

Katie went on to say on her Instagram story: ‘@officialdwightyorke19 please see your son get in contact have a heart as Harvey doesn’t deserve the fact you see your other son and not him!…
‘Your always welcome and never too late ! Why can’t harvey meet his brother? (sic)’
Katie’s plea comes after she revealed she’d like to reintroduce her eldest son Harvey to his father, and claimed it has been 13 years since the pair last saw each other.

Katie and Dwight had split by the time she gave birth to her first child Harvey in May 2002 and the model has since criticised the sportsman for his treatment of their son.
The athlete initially denied he was the father after Katie fell pregnant, forcing her to undergo DNA tests to confirm he was in fact the father.
In her book Reborn, the mother-of-five insisted Dwight was unwilling to accept the limitations of his son’s disabilities.

When Harvey was born he was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder Prader-Willi Syndrome, among other health complications including being blind due to Septo-optic dysplasia while he is also autistic, has an underactive thyroid and diabetes.
Harvey’s Prader-Willi Syndrome means he suffers with a chronic feeling of hunger, resulting in the fact he is prone to obesity.
Katie explained: ‘I’d explained Harvey’s condition to Dwight many times, but he refused to understand it and kept going on about him being fat.’
