EasyJet loses £1.2BILLION due to coronavirus pandemic – the first ever annual loss in its 25-year history

EasyJet has today revealed that the coronavirus crisis has caused an annual loss of £1.27billion – the first in its 25-year history.

The budget airline, which made £400million profit last year, also told investors that the continuing pandemic means it will fly no more than 20 per cent of its capacity between January and March.
