Ed Sheeran rocked a casual ensemble as he stepped out with his wife Cherry Seaborn in a rare public appearance to celebrate his birthday on Friday night.
Held at Gymkhana, his favourite Indian restaurant in London, the singing icon hosted the star studded birthday bash in celebration of the his 29th birthday next week.
Dressing down for the occasion, Ed disguised his iconic ginger hair under a blue trucker cap and sported a baggy black jumper and loose fitting jeans

His wife Cherry, 27, showcased her natural beauty going bare-faced allowing her natural glow to shine for her husband’s birthday.
Cherry who married the singer in a small ceremony last year, wrapped her petite frame in a black sweater with white detailing down each arm.
She teamed her sweater with matching pants that she wore tucked into a pair of black biker boots.
The natural beauty kept warm in the London weather by wearing a beanie on her head, revealing only the end of her wavy golden tresses.

The pair were joined by a star studded crew who helped celebrate Ed’s birthday in London.
In attendance was fellow singer James Blunt who appeared casual and calm in a navy blue cord jacket teamed with a green and blue wash jeans.
The singer appeared to have attended the birthday bash alone as he walked around in a pair of pink and white trainers.
He has been lying low lately after announcing he has decided to take an extended break away from music to spend time with wife Cherry and to travel.
The Sing hit-maker revealed plans for his hiatus on Christmas Eve, but assured fans he will be back, after he sees ‘more of the world’.
Ed uploaded a statement for his 32.2 million followers, alongside the caption ‘brb’ [be right back]: ‘Hello all. Gonna go on another break again.
‘The [third album] Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see some more of the world.
‘I’ve been a bit non stop since 2017 so I’m just gonna take a breather to travel, write and read. I’ll be off all social media until it’s time to come back.
‘To my family and friends, see ya when I see ya – and to my fans, thank you for always being amazing, I promise to be back with some new music when the time is right and I’ve lived a little more to actually have something to write about.’
Ed also changed his profile picture on the social media platform to the letters ‘BRB’, removing the artwork for his album Divide.
It’s not the first time Ed has taken a break away from the spotlight.
He previously took a year-long break away from the public eye and social media in 2016, before returning in early 2017 ahead of releasing his hit album Divide.
It followed the release of his second album X and the corresponding tour and, at the time, Ed gave up using his phone altogether during the 12 month break.
He posted at the time: ‘I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while.
‘I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last five years, but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes, so I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed.’
While he returned to social media, Ed eventually quit Twitter altogether in 2017 – leaving behind 18.9 million followers. His final tweet was in July of that year and his Twitter bio simply now reads: ‘I don’t use this anymore, please follow me on teddysphotos on instagram, lots of love x’
Ed married his childhood friend and former classmate Cherry in 2019 in front of just 40 guests during a secret ceremony held in Suffolk.
It came a year after he popped the question over Christmas in 2017 and Ed later confirmed he is a married man during a YouTube appearance in July 2019 while promoting album No.6 Collaborations Project.
In the interview Ed was asked about the lyrics on his Eminem and 50 Cent collaboration Remember the Name, which say: ‘Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red, but looks better without the lipstick.’
Ed explained: ‘It was actually before me and Cherry got married and I knew that we’d be married by the point that the song came out.
‘[I thought] Someone’s gonna hear that and be like, “Oh, they’re married!” I didn’t know how that would be construed, but obviously it’s already come out.’
Ed and Cherry first met as children when they both attended Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk. But Cherry moved to the US for university, meaning the friends lost touch. After working on Wall Street, she moved back to the UK in 2016 to be with Ed.
