Ed Sheeran takes a romantic stroll through Venice with his wife Cherry Seaborn

He recently announced he would be taking a breather from music after touring non-stop since 2017. 

And Ed Sheeran, 28, enjoyed some time off by relaxing in Italy with his long time love and wife Cherry Seaborn, 27.   

The duo wrapped up warm for a romantic stroll in Venice on Sunday before hopping on a boat and sailing off. 

The couple are reportedly staying at George Clooney’s home on Giudecca Island that includes its own private water taxi.

Ed opted for a bright blue padded coat over a pair of jeans and navy jumper. 

The Shape of You singer went incognito with a scruffy beard, sunglasses and flat cap but was spotted by eager fans who he stopped to have a selfie with. 

His gorgeous wife Cherry went for a double denim ensemble with faded stonewash jeans and a blue denim jacket on.

She left her long blonde flowing tresses loose before pulling them into a casual top knot. 

She paired the chic look with a pair of lace up black boots. 

Ed has been vocal on his love for the country and no doubt is enjoying his time off after a hectic touring schedule.

On Saturday night the pair enjoyed a romantic meal at Ristorante Da Ivo in Venice, which happens to be one of George Clooney’s favorite restaurants. 

The couple bought their holiday home in Umbria, near the town of Pasciano, in 2017. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Venice. The villa’s adjoining vineyard was said to be one of the selling points that convinced the singer to buy the property. 

Ed took to Instagram to announce his break from music, in part, because he had been going ‘non stop since 2017.’ He added that he was taking the ‘breather to travel write and read’ and that he will ‘be back with some new music when the time is right and I’ve lived a little more to actually have something to write about.’
