Eliminated MasterChef contestants reveal who they think will win the $250,000 prize – as Callum, Reynold , Laura and Emilia head to the finale

Callum Hann, Reynold Poernomo, Laura Sharrad and Emilia Jackson have made it to the final four on MasterChef Back to Win.

And their former co-stars have revealed to Popsugar who they believe are most likely to win the competition – and the $250,000 prize.

Dani Wenn, Tessa Boersma and Amina Elshafei are firmly backing dessert king Reynold.

Dani, who was the fourth cook to be eliminated from the series admitted Reynold deserves to win as she inspired everyone to up their game in the kitchen.

‘For me, I think he’s the one that elevated Masterchef to new heights when he came into the kitchen,’ she said.

Tessa added he was ‘incredible’ and ‘absolutely’ deserved to take out the competition this year.

While Amina added his skills went far beyond deserts and his savoury dishes were ‘wonderful’.

Ben Millbourne, Simon Toohey and Sarah Tiong are backing ‘underdog’ Callum taking out the top spot.

Ben said Callum is the best all-rounder, with an amazing ability to jump between different cuisines- an important skill the judges are looking for.

 Hayden admits Callum has ‘flown under the radar’ but dubbed him a ‘silent assassin’ who will streak at the end.

Simon Toohey, who considers Callum his ‘best mate’ had a slightly more personal reason for wanting him to win.

Meanwhile, Reece Hignell was eliminated from MasterChef Australia: Back To Win on Sunday and revealed he was backing Emilia to win.  

 ‘I’ve decided that I want Emelia to win and I have a very strong reason why,’ Reece told The Project on Monday. 

‘I have a cake business, she has a cake business, so if she wins I can claim that as a win for a cake maker as well!’

MasterChef continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Ten
