‘We haven’t had a settled 24 hours yet’: Gaz Beadle’s fiancée Emma McVey reveals their baby daughter Primrose is still suffering from stomach complications
Gary Beadle’s fiancée Emma McVey has revealed their five-week-old daughter Primrose is still suffering from stomach complications.
The mother-of-two, 27, admitted on Instagram on Sunday she felt depressed and anxious because they ‘haven’t had a settled 24 hours yet’.
Gary, 31, and Emma’s newborn daughter was admitted to hospital last week for a series of tests and doctors discovered Primrose is suffering from acid reflux and cows’ milk allergy (CMA) which their son Chester, two, also had as a baby.

Sharing a photo of herself cradling Primrose from their hospital stay last week, Emma said: ‘This was one night in hospital thinking will this ever end, and to be honest I still can’t answer that.
‘I’ve had so many of you asking if Primrose is better, honestly I can’t answer that.
The botox has helped drastically there is no denying that, but she is still on laxatives, still suffering with acid reflux and medication morning and night.

‘We haven’t had a settled 24 hours yet so I don’t want to say yes or no but she is doing a lot better than the day this photo was taken.’
Sharing how Instagram doesn’t share many lows, Emma admitted Primrose’s CMPA and acid reflux is even worse than when Chester was a baby.
‘I’ll be brutally honest, I can say I HATE the newborn stage,’ she said.
‘All I’ve done is watch my babies suffer in pain and scream a good 10/24 hours.
‘Acid reflux, allergies, gagging, choking, suppositories up their bum, cramping, laxatives, the list goes on…when they should realistically be peacefully sleeping most of the time.’
Talking about how Primrose’s struggle has impacted her own mental health, Emma candidly told her followers: ‘I’ve felt depressed and I now have the worst anxiety, I cry a lot and say I really don’t think I can get through it this time which is why I haven’t really known what to say to anyone at the minute.
‘Sorry for the essay, but I’ve had so many messages and I wanted to be totally honest and open with my response, things can only get better’.
The couple welcomed Primrose in December, a month after Gaz proposed to Emma.
The reality star, who rose to fame on Geordie Shore, pulled out all the stops for his partner of nearly four years by treating her to a lavish fireworks display in their garden and a personalised sparkling sign which read: ‘Will you marry me?’

Gaz shared a video of the fireworks display to Instagram and photo stills of the proposal in a sweet montage to the tune of Bruno Mars’ Marry You.
Acknowledging the wedding arrangements and birth of their child in a subsequent post, Emma added the caption: ‘We have a crazy, exciting couple of years on the way.’
Gaz and Emma were first reported to be dating in January 2016 following the breakdown of his on-off relationship with former Geordie Shore co-star Charlotte Crosby and they made their romance official in August 2016.
