Father-to-be Kit Harington is seen for the first time since wife Rose Leslie’s pregnancy reveal

On Tuesday morning, Kit Harington was seen for the first time since his wife Rose Leslie’s pregnancy came to light. 

The Game Of Thrones legend, 33, cut a low-key figure while stepping out in London after they revealed their exciting news when Rose, also 33, showcased her blossoming baby bump in a magazine shoot on Saturday.

During his outing, Kit looked like he may be appeasing some of his wife’s sweet cravings as he clutched a bag from a nearby bakery among other shopping bits.  

Over the weekend, Kit and Rosie revealed their exciting news when Rose showcased her baby bump in a stunning black-and-white picture from the shoot for Make where the beaming actress, who starred as Ygritte in the series, clutched her stomach.

While Rose debuted her bump during the shoot, she did not comment on her pregnancy during the Make magazine interview. 

The star did tell the publication that she and Kit have been isolating at their new Tudor manor house in East Anglia, which she jokingly referred to as ‘the house that Jon Snow built.’

She added: ‘It’s incredibly old. We have a thatched roof, which currently has an enormous hornet’s nest in it. 

‘I do love to think about the house and all the people who have lived there. Were they happy, how did they live? All the families passing under those ancient beams.’

The exciting news comes after Kit and Rose made a rare appearance in London on Friday after spending much of 2020 away from the spotlight.

The couple cut a low-key figure as they walked their Whippet dog through the streets of the capital, while wrapped up against the cold in their first sighting since they were seen at the Golden Globes in January.  

And the co-stars recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, after tying the knot in June 2018 at Rose’s spectacular 12th-century Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire.

Rose was catapulted to fame with her role of Ygritte in Game Of Thrones where she met Kit who played love interest Jon Snow.

Speaking to Stylist magazine about her time in lockdown, Rose said: ‘I feel incredibly grateful. My husband and I were fortunate to spend lockdown in the countryside.’

She continued: ‘We raised a puppy in lockdown. We were trying to eke out conversation over the dinner table, talking about nothing but what we’d eat the next day. It has been an extraordinary time for all of us, it certainly slowed us down.’
