Gwyneth Paltrow admits she ‘was drinking seven nights a week’ during quarantine: ‘I went totally off the rails’
Everyone found different ways to cope during the brunt of the pandemic lockdown, and she was no different.
Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she indulged in ‘multiple drinks seven nights a week’ during the last year or so as she quarantined with her family, according to The Mirror.
The actress-turned-entrepreneur, 48, dubbed her drink of choice a ‘Buster Paltrow,’ which she named after her grandfather and contains ‘great quinoa whiskey.’

‘I drank alcohol during quarantine,’ the Oscar winner said.
‘I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread. I went totally off the rails.
‘I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week?’ she continued. ‘Like that’s not healthy. I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours.’

‘It’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine.’
Gwyneth specified she was ‘not, like, black-out’ drunk, but she admitted she still craves a cigarette when drinking.
‘I miss it,’ she added. In the past, Paltrow had been known to indulge in just one cigarette a week amid all of her healthy living practices, in a show of moderation.

Meanwhile, the Great Expectations star’s Netflix show The Goop Lab is currently prepping its second season, after being renewed by the streamer ‘by the skin of its teeth,’ according to a source at the publication.
The show premiered last January and created somewhat of a sensation with episodes describing mushroom trips and the like.
The series, which started off with six episodes in its first season, will unveil the second season later this year.
