His former Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint revealed recently that Tom and Emma Watson, 30, enjoyed a secret ‘playground romance’ while filming for the much-loved movies over the years.

Despite the pair playing onscreen enemies, Rupert claims there was a ‘spark’ between the actors in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
He told the publication: ‘There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark. But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance.’
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline recently, Tom spoke highly of Emma and described his co-star as an ‘incredibly smart and lovely young lady.’

Tom also supported Emma’s recent declaration that she is ‘self-partnered’, instead of labelling herself as ‘single’ and said he ‘liked’ the term.
‘I like it! It’s the first I’ve heard of it, but it’s great,’ he said. ‘I’m in the same category to be honest with you, quite happily self-partnered.’
