A crocodile has shown off his speed and power after being thrown a fish from a nearby boat.
Footage posted by an Australian TikTok user last month shows the boat approaching the reptile, which is lying motionless on a muddy riverbank.
But when a fish is thrown the beast springs into action and snaps up the fish in a split-second.

The reptile then swings around and dashes across the mud before disappearing out of sight while onlookers react in delight.
One amazed viewer joked about the crocodile having ‘eyes in back of his head’ while another marveled over how it glided through the mud.
Others warned the men in the boat about throwing food to crocodiles, saying the predator would soon be ‘following them around’.
