Heidi Montag dons a mask for a sunny workout while looking after son Gunner

With the closure of schools and daycares, working moms are adjusting to a new normal.

And Heidi Montag is no different, with The Hills star doing her best to work out while also watching over son Gunner on Wednesday.

The reality star was seen going through her workout regime while her little one played beside her in a flower strewn field near her home in Los Angeles.

Wearing a bright pink sports bra and black leggings, the 33-year-old was seen skipping, jogging, and doing her lunges while two-year-old Gunner watched.

The toddler occupied himself by picking a flower, which he attempted to then put in his mother’s hair. The pair then took a break to blow bubbles together.

Heidi, who shares Gunner with husband Spencer Pratt, 36, is usually employed in filming the second season of The Hills: New Beginnings, but like many Hollywood productions, filming has been shelved for the foreseeable future.

Instead the mother-of-one has been spending her time at home working out and creating TikTok videos which she shares to Instagram.

The Hills star – who infamously went under the knife in 2010 to have multiple cosmetic procedures – has been seen working out regularly.

Last month it was revealed that Mischa Barton would not be returning for the second installment of Heidi’s show.

The former OC actress, 34, was the only one not asked to return for season two, because producers thought her story line was ‘a bit bland,’ and her personality ‘a little boring,’ TMZ reported.

Her replacement is said to be socialite Caroline D’Amore who is heir to popular food chain D’Amore’s Pizzeria.

In July 2019, MTV renewed the series for a second season, but did not reveal an air date.

The original series aired from 2006 to 2010.
