House Rules returned with a new format and high-profile panel this year.

And despite securing Kyly Clarke as a judge, the series failed to be a ratings success.

Regardless, fans of the former cricket WAG praised the 38-year-old for being a ‘natural’ on screen, underneath a photo shared to her Instagram page on Sunday.

At the conclusion of Sunday night’s finale episode of House Rules: High Stakes, Kyly shared a behind-the-scenes picture with her 70,000 loyal followers.

The mother-of-one wore her green one-shoulder dress from the episode, but looked to be ready to head home with comfortable boots and a white cardigan on top.

She held onto her black suede heels in one hand, and prepared to wheel out her suitcase with the other.

Kyly wrote in the post’s caption: ‘I cannot believe High Stakes is coming to an end for this year. This has been one of my best TV experiences and I hope you all have enjoyed the new judging lineup.’

House Rules: High Stakes premiered on Channel Seven in April with a two-part episode.

Just 679,000 metro viewers tuned in for part one, representing a drop of more than 100,000 viewers from last year’s premiere with veteran host Johanna Griggs.

It appeared Australians were switching off reality shows in favour of news programs like ABC News, 7:30 and A Current Affair during the coronavirus pandemic.

Last year’s House Rules premiere brought in 782,000 metro viewers, meaning that in the space of a year, viewership had dropped by more than 13 per cent.
