Ali Oetjen has shared the two-week training plan that whipped her into the shape of her life before her stint on SAS Australia – and incredibly, she still ate a brownie every night.
In a recent Instagram post, the 34-year-old Bachelorette star revealed how she made the most of mandatory hotel quarantine to prepare both physically and mentally for Channel Seven’s military-style reality show, which she quit on Tuesday night.
The Adelaide native tearfully said she was ‘not in the right head space’ to continue after the heartbreak of splitting from boyfriend Taite Radley in July, weeks before filming commenced.
Before the show, Ali had been living with Taite in Ballarat, Victoria, which meant she was forced to complete 14 days of coronavirus isolation before joining the cast in New South Wales’ Snowy Mountains.

Ali said she honed her body with a rigorous home exercise routine, which included three types of ab workouts, five bodyweight sessions and one hour of yoga a day.
She challenged herself with everything from boxing to burpees, focusing on movements that required little to no equipment.
The gruelling plan also saw her spend an hour walking around her room with a 20kg bag strapped to her back, which helped her build strength and muscle tone.
During quarantine, Ali abstained from alcohol but still indulged in a chocolate brownie after a dinner of ‘fresh, healthy food’ each night.
The reality star – who has also appeared in The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise – took good care of her mental health, shunning television in favour of journalling and meditating ‘morning and night’.

Ali said she was ‘crying everyday, wrapping myself in a blanket and just being miserable, focused on going slow, being grateful everyday and remaining present’.
It comes during a year of ‘spiritual awakening’ for the stunning blonde, who has been open about her personal growth on Instagram.
