He finished in third place behind runner-up Andy Whyment and eventual winner Jacqueline Jossa.

But when I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s Roman Kemp appeared to make a solo exit from the jungle in Sunday’s final, sparking outrage from fans.

Viewers took to Twitter in uproar as no one appeared to greet Roman, 26, after he crossed the jungle’s famous bridge, even though his girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury had jetted to Australia to reunite with him.

After celebrating his final night in the jungle, Roman learned that he had finished in third place.

Speaking to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly about his experience, the Capital FM DJ said that as a fan of the show it was a dream come true to make it to the final day.

Roman then made his way across the famous bridge to pose for photographers, but the camera quickly cut back to Ant and Dec who joked that he ‘stank.’

Many fans were quick to note that no one greeted Roman when he crossed the bridge, with some questioning the whereabouts of his girlfriend, who has been openly supporting him in Australia.

Several fans also asked whether his famous father Martin Kemp had jetted to Australia. The Spandau Ballet singer has openly supported his son but remained in the UK to promote his new album with wife Shirlie.

One viewer tweeted: ‘EXCUSE ME WHY WAS THERE NO ONE THERE TO GREET ROMAN?!?!!’ while another posted: ‘WHO MET ROMAN AT THE END OF THE BRIDGE I NEED THIS INFORMATION WAS IT MARTIN???’

A third also wrote: ‘I WANT TO SEE CONTENT OF ROMAN REUNITING WITH HIS FAMILY WHY IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK #ImACeleb.’ 

One fan also posted: ‘WHERE IS ROMAN’S GIRLFRIEND AND WHY DIDN’T THEY SHOW US THEIR EMOTIONAL REUNION?!’

‘No one met Roman at the end of the bridge? I’m sure the majority of lass’ in the UK would of,’ a viewer joked.

Currently it is unclear whether Roman’s girlfriend Anne-Sophie headed out to the jungle to meet Roman upon his exit, or whether they were reunited back at the hotel.

After his departure Roman did receive a surprise video message from his dad Martin and mum Shirlie, which played out on Extra Camp.

In the clip, Shirlie said: ‘We are so proud of you. You’ve made us laugh, cry, you’ve just been incredible!’

While Martin added: ‘And you’ve given us such anxiety as well, I can’t tell you.’

Sharing how amazing it’s been watching his boy shine on screen, he then gushed: ‘It’s been the best television experience of my life.’

The couple then signed off with words of affection, with Shirlie saying: ‘We love you so much Ro, we can’t wait to see you!’ with Martin adding: ‘We love you big boy!’

After watching the video, Roman broke down in tears and was comforted by runner-up Andy.
