‘I might find love!’ I’m A Celebrity’s Billy Brownless says he’s ready for a new partner… after his best friend Garry Lyon had an affair with his ex-wife Nicky

He’s the retired AFL star who entered the jungle on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And on Tuesday, Billy Brownless revealed he was ready for a new romantic relationship after his best friend Garry Lyon had an affair with his wife Nicky.

Billy and Garry worked together on The Footy Show for six years before he found out that his long-time friend was seeing his wife just before Christmas 2015.

Speaking to The Herald Sun, Billy made it clear he had ‘moved on’ from the affair.

‘I might find myself, I might find love. There might be a rumble in the jungle, you never know,’ he told the publication.

The Footy Show panelist added that he was prepared to answer questions about the affair from fellow contestants on I’m A Celebrity.

‘That was four years ago, we’re in a good spot,’ he said.

‘It takes a while but we’ve all moved on and I’m aware they’ll probably ask me about it.’

Billy joined I’m A Celebrity on Monday night along with fellow retired AFL player Dale Thomas.

The pair completed a grueling trial which saw them searching for stars in a haunted house filled with crocodiles, spiders and rats.

Dressed in safari gear, the lads managed to locate five stars each, and in the process got covered in chicken feathers and spiders.

Billy played for Geelong during the 1980s and 1990s while former Carlton player Dale retired at the end of last year, after his contract was not renewed by the club.
