A self-confessed compulsive shopper who vlogs about plus-size fashion has revealed her struggles with Boohoo sizing.
UK-based plus-sized influencer Kelsie, known as kelsies_world96 on TikTok was less than impressed after a top in her usual size struggled to contain her boobs.
In a recent clip she was keen to try on the ‘summery’ white broderie anglaise top, remarking: ‘How cute is that?’
However, things didn’t go to plan and she pointed towards her bust and explained: ‘So basically it won’t go over me.
‘I haven’t bought anything from Boohoo in ages because of those reasons. There’s no way of getting it round’.

The TikToker, who boasts a large following of over 185,000 clarified: ‘Yes, this is my size’.
‘So it’s stretchy at the back, but for some reason it is really tight. I can’t explain it. There’s no give in it’.
Frustrated, the plus-size fashionista quipped: ‘People ask me where I shop,I don’t shop at Boohoo.
‘I just thought, you know, let’s give it [a try]. Not again. I’m not really happy. But to be honest, I’m not even going into it’.
Expressing her disappointment, Kelsie captioned her video: ‘If anyone see a top like this in plus-size let me know please.’
‘I got the top on after ripping it to see if I could make do, [but] even when I got it on, it was too big round the melons. Absolute fail’.
Many fans leaped to her defence, sharing their own plight with her. One user said: ‘Boohoo really knocks my confidence.

‘I ordered 2 different bodysuits in sizes bigger than I am and neither of them were even close to fitting’.
And another admitted: ‘Boohoo sizing is dreadful. I just don’t bother with them anymore’.
A different user advised Kelsie resorts to using another controversial fast-fashion brand: ‘There are so many tops like this at SHEIN! Plus size too’.
While one said: ‘I feel like nowhere caters for larger chests and if they do they end up being way too long, I’m only 5 foot’.
However, one user felt Kelsie still ‘look[ed] absolutely phenomenal’.
