The actress, 50, is believed to be spending $35,000 per week to stay at a luxury rental with views of Wategos Beach and the nearby hinterland.

The Bridesmaid star has been spotted out and about in the coastal town in recent months, after moving to Byron Bay in August.
Melissa stars alongside the likes of Nicole Kidman, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale and Manny Jacinto in Nine Perfect Strangers.
The limited series is being produced by Nicole’s production company Blossom Films, alongside Big Little Lies collaborators Bruna Papandrea and David E. Kelley.
Staying close to the action, Melissa seems to be living in a grand, multi-level home just a stone’s throw away from one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, Wategos.

The property has four large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and the top floor is dedicated entirely to the master bedroom.

While previous listings suggest the home is not suitable for children under the age of 12, this didn’t appear to be a problem for the family.

Earlier this month, Melissa and her husband urged Americans to vote in the 2020 presidential election while drinking a beer in their kitchen.
Melissa also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show last week via video link from what appeared to be one of the bedrooms.

Set in the fictionalised resort ‘Tranquillum’, Nine Perfect Strangers is being partially filmed at the real-life luxury retreat Soma Byron Bay.
The series, which is based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel of the same name, follows nine stressed-out urbanites who escape to a wellness centre run by Nicole’s character.
Filming began in August, and is due to conclude in late December.
